I wonder what the eyes are above Evil Lyn. Is she going to morph like Catra?!

Probably, or she's possessed by a Horde type of spirit! Shadow Weaver might be the source?!

Sirsniffy posted this on the other forum: not sure where it came from but sounds official

“With the full Power of Grayskull unleashed inside him, Adam gains a combination of primal rage and all of the power in the universe—the raw fury, the brutal strength, and the unbridled speed of 10 He-Men! But without the Sword of Power to temper these mighty forces, Savage He-Man is all strength with no intellect to control it. The barbarian version of our hero leaves his friends wondering if Adam is truly present within the transformed beast, as he tears through Eternia in an uncontrolled frenzy. Luckily, Adam at his core possesses innate compassion, humility, goodness that rivals the Power of Grayskull itself. Only the Prince of Eternia could wield such Power and be both willing and able to relinquish it once the battle is won.”

I hope that doesn't mean Andra like the rumor is saying

That summary comes from "Masters of the Universe Masterverse Revelation Savage" He-Man and Orko two pack: https://news.toyark.com/2021/10/13/m...nd-orko-446653

Thanks Jyrki. I figured it was legit because other folks were commenting on it. Nice to have the clarified source.

What Andra rumor, you mean Teela's lover or something?!

I like the idea that they're brining the raw and the original version of He-Man into the mix, especially using the axe as his main weapon! (I hope)...

Hmm, I thought that rumor was about Teela!... I guess I've been out of the loop since the last online rage... ;-b

It has been said that Andra is going to be a direct descendant of King Greyskull. Would explain the color swap but also lazy writing if you ask me.

Hmm, for a while I thought she might be Clamp Champ's daughter, now she's part of King Grayskulls' kin!? ... So, she's going to be the next She-Man (pun intended), okay...

I think that some of the characters weren't acting like the characters we have known....mainly the Sorceress and Teela.

I figured that the Sorceress would have used the Schwartz to tell Teela why the secret was held from her by now since magic had dwindled while Adam was absent.

I'm ok with the Teela show because I am a Teela fan but that was my biggest WTF moment. Since Teela got butt hurt over that secret being held away from her for her own protection I hope she doesn't throw a hissy when Sorceress reveals that she is her mother and that secret was also held from her.

I do like that they're bringing in savage He-man and the reasoning makes sense but I don't like that they took Teela out of character to further the plot.

    I hope that makes sense!

Now I know where all it went wrong; they simply haven't used the Schwartz!... Idiots!

Seriously though, how many times did the Sorceress's head pop up to tell another heroic warrior that Prince Adam was in trouble.

How many times did she use her Schwartz-like powers to give another heroic warrior information to save the day?

          Am I misremembering this?

I think the Revelation writers were inspired by a doodle that was left on TG's old desk showing he was experimenting with his Mighty Spector's Schwartzy Snortzy's wrong hole while he was bored at Mattel, instead of letting the Sorceress sitting on her real Schwartz when she's sending her telepathic transmissions!

I don't know man, they wanted to create unnecessary drama to make things more interesting while forgetting the essential MOTU stuff... In other words: Hollywood...

              Fair assessment!! Probably a doodle by spector's father’s brother’s nephew’s cousin’s former roommate.

After seeing now part 2 too. As fan for MotU since orginal series. Only few good about Revelation is visually well made and some voice acting is fine but rest including story is not my liking at all.

I agree for the most part. I felt the actors were trying their best from the convoluted script they've had in front of them!
The show has some good potential, but so far the delivery was rushed and scrambled IMHO. The writers/directors just tried to pull whatever they could from the source material into their own recipe and ended up with a messed up meal; edible but not quite digested...

The last segment of the second act showed the motherboard was actually a Hordak creation of sort. So the Horde most likely will be joining the party in the next act, and I wonder how this experiment will be like in the end!?

I haven't even bothered to watch it. It also looks like it hasn't made any of the top ten of netflix shows. Maybe it's the holidays?!?

It's worth watching especially being a hardcore fan... However I think Dean Stefan from the MYP/200X era would've been laughing his butt off in disbelief about the script and the story if he was alive today!

I literally got all the story beats from the MOTU Reddit, so I don't even have to watch it. Sad, really.

I'd suggest to watch it for the visuals at least. But yeah, the story sucks ass...

I guess overall I’d give it a passing grade, but my love for MOTU bias definitely played a part in that….
I hated that Fisto and especially Clamp Champ were killed off so quickly. Hated the fist puns and fist jokes even more.
I had hoped that with Teela becoming the new Sorceress that they would have tied in a snake motif to her story and in so doing, given her the snake staff and headdress from the toy as part of her new outfit. Also didn’t like how she basically said “I don’t want to stay in the castle”, so now the new Sorceress doesn’t have to remain at Castle Grayskull. Her mother must have been kicking herself thinking “why didn’t I think of that?”
I also did not like the writers using Clamp Champ’s name from those shitty bios. I would love it though if someone from Mattel came out and said that some of the stuff wasn’t from Neitlich and was actually from a round table discussion back in the day, just so Neitlich can’t pat himself on the back and say they used his ideas. I don’t care if it’s a lie or not, anything to tell Neitlich to STFU will do, lol.

That ending with the tease for season 2 helped tip the scales in me giving it a slight passing grade though. Has me looking forward to hopefully seeing the Horde done right. The ten seconds we got in the 200X series wasn’t enough, and I’ve made my views on anything Filmation known already….

For those that hated the whole season, I can’t argue with them. There was not to like, just that for me, I think I found just a little bit more that I liked than I didn’t like with season one.

I agree pretty much with everything you said here Croc... At the end of the day, it's better to have a half cooked ass show than nothing at all for this property.

BTW I wonder why Mattel has allowed those bad "fist" jokes in the script?! I hope they'd dub those out with another appropriate lines before they become eternal memes of MOTU.
