Multi-quote feature.

Hello admins, is it possible to add a mulit-quote feature (button) to the boards without messing up too much with the coding? I know that I wanted to use it more than once when replying to different people within the same thread...

There is currently an issue with VB5 that doesn't clear posts marked for multi-quoting on the page. It will be fixed in the next version, which should be released by vBulletin in a few months. Once the bug is fixed, the multi-quote button will appear in your posts.

*** For now, there is a way to cheat the system and multi-quote, without the use of a multi-quote button. Go through the thread, and click the quote buttons on the posts you want to quote. They will glow orange when you click them.



After you have clicked the quote buttons, scroll up to the top of the page to the first post. At the side you will see a "Post Reply (X)" button, that shows the number of quotes you clicked (example: if you clicked 'quote' of 4 posts, the number (4) will appear in the Post Reply button.) This will add all quotes to the editor in your post.
