How to remove Discussion Notices in Message Center

No, there is no way for me to change the code on that. This is something the vBulletin company has to fix on their end in a future VB5 release.

I like the notifications, but when someone is on my ignore list, I still get them. Can we get this changed?

For those of you who would like to turn off the "Discussion" notices that appear in your Message Center so that you only recieve PM messages, simply log into your User Settings at the top of the page (under your user name login), go to theNOTIFICATIONS section, and remove the check marks from the boxes found next to the following: "Replies to your discussion (this also includes comments in your topics)" and "Comments on your discussion".

If you wish to remove notifications for "Likes" and "Votes on Polls", simply remove the check marks from those boxes as well. Once those checkmarks are gone, you will only recieve notices on your Private Messages.


STEP 1 - Click the User Settings tab.




STEP 2 - Remove the checkmarks from the highlighted boxes. Then click the Save Changes tab.
