new private messages

I am not a fan of how new private messages arrive.

I think that each new incoming private message is should be it's own separate message not lumped in together with previous ones.

Unfortunately, the new vBulletin 5 was designed in a way that everything appears under the "Messages" banner. Many people who own VB5 sites have complained about this to them, so hopefully they will make a patch to fix this soon, so that messages are not lumped together.

For those of you who would like to turn off the "Discussion" notices that appear in your Message Center so that you only recieve PM messages, simply log into your User Settings at the top of the page (under your user name login), go to the NOTIFICATIONS section, and remove the check marks from the boxes found next to the statements Replies to your discussion (this also includes comments in your topics) and Comments on your discussion.

If you wish to remove notifications for Likes and Votes on Polls, simply remove the check marks from those boxes as well. Once those checkmarks are gone, you will only recieve notices on you Private Messages.
